January 4: Students return to school (first day of third nine weeks/second =
semester) =20

January 5:  Basketball Game at SAMS (this game was originally scheduled as =
an away game) against Gibbes (5:30)  HOME GAME

January 10:  Report Cards issued, Basketball Game at SAMS (Home Game) =
against W. A. Perry 5:30, Homework Center and 21st Century Begins

January 11: PTO Executive Board Meeting, Club Excel begins=20

January 12:  Basketball Game at Hopkins 6:00, Athletic Pictures Prepay

January 13:  Early dismissal at 1:00, Report Card Conferences 4:00 - 7:00, =
No After School Programs, FCA at 7:45 AM

January 14:  Ravenous Reader Movie Day for those students who have read =
and passed the tests for 10 AR books

January 17:  Martin Luther King Day (Holiday for Students and staff)

January 18:  Honor Roll Assemblies (Grade 6 at 9:00, Grade 7 at 9:40, =
Grade 8 at 10:30)  School Improvement Council Meeting at 6:15

January 19:  Basketball Game at Sanders Middle School 5:30

January 20: Study Skills Parent Workshop (6:00 - 7:30)

January 24:  Science Fair (set up and judging this week)

January 26: Basketball Game at Southeast Middle School 6:00

January 27:  PTO/Family Science Night 6:30, Lunch Buddies, FCA 7:45 AM

January 31:  Basketball Game at SAMS (Home Game) against Hand 5:30
