[samscommunity] Important Information regarding Band Practice

MESSAGE FROM ST. ANDREWS MIDDLE SCHOOL:




Dear Parents,

After School rehearsals are an extension of the classroom.
It is a time to get together different band classes and 
fine tune for our performance.

Students are graded for their participation.  Some students
mentioned that their parents told them to go to marching band practice
instead of our school band rehearsal.

All band students are expected to attend all rehearsals.
All students are expected to learn their parts/music  and participate 
in the Band Winter Concert.  

The preparation for and performance in our Winter Concert are  graded
events. 

We have to more rehearsals after school Monday 11 December 2006 and
Tuesday 12 December 2006 from 3:45pm - 5pm.

The Concert is Thursday 14 December 2006.
Uniform is Black shoes, black socks, black pants, white ironed shirt.
Girls may wear a black skirt or dress. School rules apply to the length
of skirts and dresses.

Band students performing need to be in the band at 6:30pm ready for
warm-ups. I believe in starting on time.
