Dear Parents:

As a result of increased awareness of school security issues, we will =3D
enforce a new ID badge policy effective November 4, 2003. All students =3D
will be required to wear their St. Andrews Middle School ID badges around =
=3D
their necks at all times during the school day and when attending school =
=3D
related activities.

Homeroom teachers will check each student for ID badges daily.
First time without an ID badge  Teacher will issue temporary badge.
Second time without ID badge    Friday detention for one hour
Third time without ID badge     Friday detention for 1 =3DBD hour

Please encourage your children to be vigilant about having and wearing =3D
their school ID badges. It should be their responsibility to come to =3D
school each day with the ID badge around their neck. We appreciate your =
=3D
cooperation as we strive to keep our students safe.
