I got a call yesterday from my sons teacher informing me that he did not have 
his ID badge and that I should encourage him to wear it at all times.  I found 
out yesterday after looking for it, it could not be found.  I instructed him to 
go to school anyway and pay for a badge...Question?  Will he have to spend 1 
hour in Friday detention even if he brought his badge today?  Please advise.

Parents,
Mr. Richardson issued a notice about the new ID Badge Policy which began today, 
November 4. The notice includes consequences for students who do not have their 
ID badges. 

Important Points about the ID Badge Policy:
1. First time without badge, student will be given a warning and issued a 
temporary badge (homeroom teachers should contact parents).

2. Second time without badge, student will be assigned Friday detention for one 
hour (parental contact is advised--letter issued to student for parent).

3. Third time without badge, student will be assigned Friday detention for 1 
1/2 hours. A letter will be sent to parents by the student.

4. ID badges should be worn around the neck.

5. If a student loses the temporary badge he/she will have to pay $7.00 for a 
replacement.

6. Replacement ID badges are $7.00. 

7. If your child did not receive an ID card, please contact his/her homeroom 
teacher immediately.

Please remind your child that Identification Badges are for his or her safety. 
It is important that your child wears the ID everyday. 

If you have any questions, please contact the school.
