MESSAGE FROM ST. ANDREWS MIDDLE SCHOOL:


Family Reading Night will be held on Thursday, March 15 from 6:00 PM -
8:00 PM.

Students who attend with their parents will receive 100 points in their
ELA class.

Don't forget we are fast approaching the Ravenous Readers deadline.

Ravenous Readers is a program sponsored by our business partner
Colonial Supplemental Insurance Company.  Colonial rewards the students
for completing goals set forth by the ELA teachers and Ravenous Readers
Committee. 

Students will receive a certificate and prizes for completing various
levels during the school year.

All students who read at least 20 books and earn 50 Accelerated Reader
points by passing tests at 60% will attend a year-end field day
activity
with games, food, and prizes.

Important Date:
April 19--year end deadline

The Ravenous Readers program is made possible by the employees at
Colonial Supplemental Insurance Company.  As usual, we thank them for
their support.

Students who reached the goal last year were invited to attend a
Charlotte Bobcats Exhibition Game in October.
