Good Morning and Blessings to All:

On a positive note; I was one of the ones who did not experience a
problem with completing the lunch application.  Not saying that anyone
who experienced a problem did not, but there are times when we just have
to "take off work and do what we need to do for our children".  

We are all our children have and it is our responsibility to make sure
everything of theirs; ie. paperwork, permission slips, etc. is in order.
There will always be "something" to take us away from our jobs, but we
just have to do it, especially the single parents, but not to make light
of two parent households.

There were days set aside in July for parents to go to Rhame and fill
out the applications.  There were also other sites that you could go to.

I have to voice my opinion on the lunch applications.  If they had been
coming home with all the other school work in the beginning of the
School year it would have eliminated the problem of parents having to
track down cafeteria workers and so forth.  I have been asking my
daughter about an application since school started.  Just to prove a
point unless I am totally persistent it won't happen.  The School should
be responsible for ensuring that these applications are handed out or
put in a folder day 1 of the school year.  I had to come to the school
to pick up my daughter's report card because no one bothered to look to
see if she had a new address even though, I had been to the school
previously to fill out new paper work and change of address form which
must have evaporated.  So my point is why should I have had to come to
the school.  The parents have to work also.  These are things that can
be handled in a more professional manner.  I am not angry just
dissapointed.

If you have not completed an application this year, be sure to get an
