The November issue of SACnews is now available for your reading pleasure:

In this Issue:

1.      From the AAVSO writer's bureau, Mike Simonsen talks about all the
different acronyms we hear in astronomy.
2.      NASA's Space Place talks about what may have caused Comet Holmes to
brighten two years ago.
3.      AJ takes us through Lacerta in this month's call for Observations.
Please note that a typo was discovered after the issue went to press. For
those working on the Trumpler project for January's issue, please note that
NGC 1512 is incorrect and should be replaced by NGC 1513. This will be
corrected in the next issue.
4.      Steve Dodder presents his farewell address in his final President's
Corner.
5.      AJ presents the minutes of the October meeting on Page 9
6.      Pages 10 & 11 have the upcoming year's schedules of events. Included
are the General meetings, ATM meetings, regular &DTOM star parties and
special events. The official calendar will be published for download and
import to Outlook shortly.
7.      The Monthly Trivia Question is on page 12 this month.
8.      Membership services has directions to the meetings and the Antennas
on page 13, Directions to the Holiday Party, to be held at Susan Trask's
House Dec 6th on page 14, and a renewal form on page 15.
