It's finally here. Apologies for the delay, but I had to wait for the final
version of the proposed amendments to be submitted and then ran into some
"technical problems" Thanks to Peter Argenziano for helping out there.
OK , In this issue:
1. Page 1 & page three have the text of the proposed constitutional
amendments as they will be voted on at the September meeting. Please
read them carefully and make your voice heard and vote.
2. NASA's Space Places talks about the latest technology in weather
satellites.
3. Member's observations of objects in Draco are complied by AJ Crayon in
this month's Call For Observations. (ed Note: Please remember AJ has a
lot of family & friends in Louisiana & Mississippi. Please keep them in
your thoughts)
4. Steve & Rosie Dodder invite us to his Stonehaven observatory, Oct 22nd
for a pot Luck & star party. Info & directions on page 6.
5. Susan Pritchard provides the minutes of the July Board & General
meetings.
6. Please note on the member services page, that the cost of a
subscription to Astronomy Magazine has increased to $34.00
