[sac-forum] Re: weather for this weekend

That's great you lucky guys. Be sure to catch comet 177P/Barnard 2 passing the
Cat's Eye Nebula (NGC 6543 in Draco). Should be north of it about a degree.
Look for NGC 6552 at 9' E of the Cat's Eye at PA 97. That should look cool in
its own right if you can get to mag 14.

Here's a track from Skyhound:

  AJ, et al;

  Joe Goss and I are planning on a three nighter, if the weather will allow.
He and I are going to be there 5 PM on Thursday afternoon. Joe has a tarp
frame to block the sun I am certain that will be handy.

  See you there;

  Steve Coe

  My musings on long range forecasts are similar to others - for Hovatter. So,
despite my discussion about 5MM, I'm ready for Hovatter Rd. The weather will
be amenable for telescope usage. I'll be planning on leaving early Friday
afternoon.  Any takers?

  Clear skies to us,
  aj

  Howdy folks;

  I have been looking forward to this weekend as much as anyone you know, but
take a look at the wide field Western US satellite image. There is a tropical
low pressure area moving our way. I think we will wake up to clouds tomorrow
(Thur) and we will have to see how quickly they move off. Hopefully, by
Saturday the clouds will move away and we can discuss a trip to view the sky.
I am officially depressed by the depression. Maybe a big, juicy high pressure
ridge will move in and push it to the east.

  All we can do is talk about the weather;

  Steve Coe
