I seriously need a night out under the stars. I have been clouded
out on my last 2 attempts. So, if the weather does not get any
worse, I am planning to pack up my car and drive to Cherry. I will
be ready to go by about noon or 1, and Rick/Andrew I would love to do
some caching along the way. Do either of you have a gsak file with
some handy caches, either up north or here in Phoenix?
Steve
PS: Andrew, if you want to catch a ride with me up to Cherry, we can
fit all of your equipment in my SUV. Give me a call if you want.

AJ,
The Clear Sky Clock for Antennas looks worse than the one for
Cherry Rd at
this point. Like everyone else, I'm still on the fence. If I do
head out I
may just head to Cherry Rd early with the hope it turns out OK. And
bring my
GPS and do some caching in the area. At least that way I can say
the day
wasn't a complete waste.
Andrew, Steve R.? Caching Anyone?

Seems I'm in the same boat with Andrew. Not sure if I'm going
observing
tonight or not. If it turns out to be in the affirmative then the
next
decision is where. Either Cherry Rd (not sure which site) or
Antennas.
I'll try to post my decision somewhere 'twix and 'tween 4:00pm and
5:00pm
Still hoping for clear skies - for all,
aj

(drum roll)
IFFY
We have all seen these conditions before where it looks like
this and
turns out to be a pleasant surprise when the sky becomes viewable.
If you
are a 10/10 kind of person then you will probably stay home. If
you can
accept less than optimum viewing then you will be glad to get out
of the
heat and enjoy great (nice) conversation at the very least. I will
decide
just before I head out at somewhere around 5:30.
Stay tuned
Andrew
