[sac-forum] Re: plain old observing?

Dan and Tim,
Thanks for the directions. I'm in great shape now. And just so you guys
know, I prefer to observe all night since these sorts of opportunities just
don't come along all that often.
Thanks again guys for the info.
See you out there,
Chris
P.S. Who plans a wedding between last quarter and first quarter?! My wife and
I were married last October 7th....full moon weekend.

Hi Chris,

I-17 North to exit 278 Hwy 169 Cherry Rd.
Go west about 5 miles, just beyond marker 10.
There is a sign which says "Cherry 6".
Turn left (south).
Note: This is the opposite way the arrow on the sign points.

You will be on a pretty well-maintained dirt road, however, there are
some natural speed bumps, so drive slow. The site is located 0.5 mile
south of the hard surfaced Cherry Road. The observing field is a
large meadow to your right (west) thru a gate. It is marked with the
traditional Boy Scout rock marker, i.e., several rocks stacked on top
of each other at the turn off.

Unfortunately, Bob and I will miss as we have an evening wedding to
attend.

Tim
