We can then decide if the club picks up the $7.50/$5.00 for each club member (as the KC club did), or allow those members interested in joining pick up the tab for themselves each year. Yes, the club must submit the payment, but it could be handled in the same manner as we currently handle subscriptions or name tags as a separate line item on the membership form. 

Again, club expense: $10.00.
Oh, and she also said that this is the way it's always been, so this is not a new procedure.

Actually, if the club picked it up for a 100% membership, that number would be 87 x $5.00, or $435.
It's quite obvious from the pushback that some of you are totally against AL membership (for some reason that I'll never understand). At this point, I'm no longer concerned either way, but I did want to get the facts straight for the email record.
