In olden days, they were! (If their predictions didn't come true for
the benefit of the current rulers!)
I will be happy just so long as they leave MY rock alone!!
It stays out there about 1/3 of the way between Mars and Jupiter, and
won't ever bother humanity.
Sorry to say, for most of its orbit it's too faint to be easily seen
with anything but a BIG scope.
I kinda like being designated a "minor deity"....
