[sac-forum] Re: Wednesday Night's Site Evaluations

I would like to chime in here on the idea that three members of this club have the means to communicate with each other while observing at each site on one night. Steve, Wes and myself could compare the sites discussed here using the 94 repeater each with a SQM and photos of the horizons of concern. We could then bring the results to a meeting and present our results to the club. Using MapSource I can't really tell what the light glow seen to the south west of the Gas Line site could be other than Yuma 104 miles away as the crow flies.

Peter, could you resend the Google Earth with the light pollution overlay again.

Just a thought

Andrew

I have an SQM.

This sounds like a good task for the ham radio contingent of SAC....
