[sac-forum] Re: This upcoming meeting and the amendment discussion.

Hello again everyone,

With the SAC meeting at the Grand Canyon University, we will move forward with the
vote as previously planned. I am still accepting offers to speak your opinion regarding
the issue. At this time, I only have one speaker. If no one else cares to come forward,
we will simply extend the Q&A session. There are plans to contact our insurance
carrier for their views on waivers in conjunction with their policy, and I have plans
to try and contact yet another attorney on this matter. With these actions, it is hoped
that we will be able to answer any questions the membership may have prior to the vote.
Please have your questions ready. Even better, please post specific questions so
that I may inquire specifically if possible.

I understand that this topic has been controversial, and I realize that certain aspects
of the topic, including the upcoming meeting, have not been easy or pleasing to some.
Unfortunately, this is one of the instances where it will be impossible for everyone to be
thoroughly content. I can only ask that you please understand that the board has
done what it can to ensure that both sides are considered equally, and that all requests
and opinions were taken into consideration equally. This upcoming meeting represents
the middle ground.

Whatever the outcome of this vote, the club will have moved forward, and will continue to do so.

I look forward to seeing a large turn out on the 16th at GCU.
