Speakin of car batteries, how come you have to turn the ignition on to get the rear 12v outlets to work? I'm sure in their wisdom, the car designers didn't want you running down the battery by leaving rear accessories on overnight. But I WANT to leave rear accessories on overnight! I just don't want all the instrument panel lights on. I need to rewire, but it's always such a pain and might void some of the warranty.
