No, this doesn't have anything to do with the human Telrad, Rick Tejera.
Sorry 'bout that Rick.
To those that have Telrads as finders on a telescope - what is the stellar
limit range you have seen? I'm not interested in the averted vision limit, if
averted vision is even possible. Nor am I interested in the limit based on
waiting for a moment of better seeing condition, or even using a hood.
The limit that is of interest is what can be reasonably seen, especially while
varying the red lit concentric circles. Obviously the brighter the circles the
harder it is to see the stellar limit. Turning the intensity down, to even
off, would give the better chances for seeing the lower limit.
It is expected this lower limit would be a range based on a number of
observations from a number of observers. It is the range that is of more
interest than just one number. For example one observer may have seen 4th mag
and another 6th mag. That's the kind of range of interest.
