Andrew, I would like to plan on leaving between 4:30pm and 5:00pm. This
should allow for traffic problems. Will you be staying all night or
planning or departure around, say, midnight?
Clear skies,
aj

So far Wes Edens and myself are planning a trip to Saddle Mt tonight.
The winds should be calming down to 7 MPH after sundown so smaller scopes
should be better off. We plan to meet at Micky Dee's on McDowell Rd and
99th Ave. I will advise you of what time if you wish.

Anyone considering an observing trip to Saddle Mt, aka Gas Line, site for
this evening? It does look like it will be clear but, unfortunately, the
wind can be a factor. Just now the winds are about 6mph with gusts to
16mph at both Buckeye and Gila Bend. Don't have to make decision now, can
wait for another 3 hours or so.
I'd like to do overnighter because moon rise isn't until just after 3:00am
Sunday. I'll consider returning sooner if no one is staying the night.
Anyone else considering?
Clear skies,
aj
