Wednesday, February 29, 2012 6:00-8:00 pm SS: 6:25 pm Highland Lakes Elementary and Middle School 19000 N 63rd Ave, Glendale, AZ (63rd Ave N of Union Hills) Part of their Science Fair Setup Arrival Time: Please plan to arrive up to 30 minutes prior to starting time to set up your equipment. Dress for very cool weather. Don't forget a step stool for the little ones and plenty of water. Total Run Time: Approximately 2 hours (6:00 pm-8:00 pm) Sunset: 6:25 pm, moon 1st qtr. Estimated Number of People: Approximately 100 students, parents and faculty. This is a family event. All ages will be attending, so bring a step stool for the little ones. Format: Casual. No formal programs. Simply setup and answer questions. Special Requests: The Moon, Jupiter, and Venus Notes: This will be Science Night at the school and part of their Science Fair activities. The students are excited to be learning about Astronomy, so try to show and explain about a good variety of objects, even tho prob. too light-polluted here plus it's one day before 1st qtr Moon.
