[sac-forum] Re: SAC Insurance

An interesting note, is that the insurance carrier recommended waivers for
all SAC events (They even provided some guidelines, which if I recall were
far more stringent than what in to offing now).

These guidelines were probably formulated by administrative employees sitting behind desks and looking at tables of data, graphs, and other statistics, all of which doesn't include SAC, fitting models, and then the final "guideline" from all this analysis and modeling is then formulated by some managerial types even further removed from the actual insured, and then these "guidelines" are applied in a blanket fashion, possibly with the exception of a distinction being made between general classes of insured. As such, they are more than likely completely unrealistic applied to us in our situation, with the possible exception of the MM. We are not a crowd at a meeting who do not know each other, but are a small group of individuals gathered together because of a common hobby/avocation, who do know each other, and, I hope, are all friends. Are we going to now require waivers to attend the SAC Christmas party, a club event, at AJ's?
