Richard, I have a two possibilities. One is a 5.6 lb Edmund counterweight 3.5" dia and almost 3" thick. It has a 1" hole. There's also a 2.5" diameter round steel rod left over from Steve Dodder's Bino-chair. It can easily be cut off and bored out. Steve must have lost claim to it by now (right Steve). Jeff is right about the lead, but I don't have any. That would be great fun but Gail might object to foundry operations in the kitchen! Do you have anything like that or some stock I can drill a hole in? If so, I'll be over tomorrow night with checkbook in hand.
