If you have a high-speed Internet connection and a means to write an ISO
file to a CD, you can try Knoppix.  This Linux distribution boots and runs
on one CD, without modifying what's currently on your HD.

The ISO file can be downloaded from http://www.knoppix.com/


BTW - Is there any interest in a Linux subgroup within SAC?
