[sac-forum] Re: On Binoculars and Mounts

Steve,
If you want to send me a couple representative pics, I'll see about turning
them into plans, just to give an option.

  Thanks.

Paul & Steve D., I use an older fine tune mount atop a basic steady tripod
mount form my bino's and small spotting scopes. It has alt/az fine tune adj.
and works great at star partys for the kids to few thru the bino's. If you
want I can try and take several photo's and email them to you. It is almost
impossible to describe the mount (however I had showed Steve D. a while back
the mount with some viewfinders I had, etc.). Not sure if he remembers it or
not. It is similar to a bogen/manfrotto multi-adj. tripod mount head. Well
let me know. I will try to attend Paul's next ATM mtg and bring it with me.
Like I said it works great (even at full power with my bino's 10-30x50 Zoom).
Take care, Steve Palmer
