Howdy;
I got in a little Jupiter observation, a Europa transit and several bands
seen. I did a few carbon stars in Aquila and then called it a night. But
it was pleasant, even though the seeing down at the altitude of Jupiter was
pretty bad, I gave it a 3. The usual mediocre seeing for my backyard. It
was nice to view something astronomical, however.
Take Care;
Steve Coe

I would suggest that if you have a chance to setup a telescope for tonight
you should do so. The skies are severely clear and something that doesn't
happen during the monsoon season. Also, if you have grass that needs to be
cut, try putting on some insect repellant as the mesquites' and what ever
you have there will have a feast.
My first plan is to look at Jupiter for a while, then a few doubles followed
by some deep sky entries that are in the SAC Urban List.
Hope you have fun - I will.
Clear skies,
aj
