Here is my 2 cents worth, this is from central Az, so the latitude is
about 33 degrees north.

NGC 288 13" f/5.6 Pretty faint, large, not much brighter in the middle,
irregularly round, 40 stars resolved at 135X. It can be seen in a
pair of 10X50 binoculars as a dim, small spot. Even this low surface
brightness globular cluster is a welcome as a break in all these
galaxies.
6" f/6 Maksutov-Newtonian Sentinel Seeing=6 Transp=8
8.8mm faint, pretty large, little brighter middle, 6 stars resolved,
10 more averted vision only. This is a low surface brightness glob.

Hello,
I am new to the list and just mailed dues to SAC. Would like to thank
everyone involved with the SAC database and all the other neat things
you
do. I view with my granddaughter and we have an Orion xt4.5, a Celestron
orange C8, and Orion Xt12i fresh off the boat.
Keep up the good work
Cliff Hedgepeth
