[sac-forum] Re: New Orion 100mm ED Refractor

How do you rate the quality of the tube? By chance I was looking at 
Orion's web site about a half hour before your message appeared. If we 
are talking about the same refractor, the tube assembly sells for $999. 
Is this the one? Are you using the same mount for the 100mm that you are 
using for the 80mm? My impression is that the mounts that come with the 
complete Orion telescopes are a little on the light side, irrespective 
of their claims.
