I know I said I was bowing out, but therein lies the truth of
things. Thank you Gene, for your openness. It's all about the
"because it's not US." So you're basically telling any of us who may
think that this might be a good idea to leave SAC and join "that
other club". I'm so glad that we have such great ambassadors making
people feel glad about joining SAC.
Another point... if the club signed up, and >some< members also
were members of >another< AL club.... they might gripe about
"having to pay (national) dues twice"...
Are you really that set in your ways that you've not read any of
what's been presented? This is what I've been trying to get across -
just because SAC is a member organization doesn't mean that all of
it's members must also become AL members. Just because SAC joins
doesn't mean that Gene Lucas (17250) must join. So, if Gene Lucus
(17250) is already a member of AL through his membership with some
other club, he doesn't need to subscribe again and he's only paying
for AL membership once - apparently through "that other club".
So there you have it...
About SAC --- "What He Said..."
I used to agree until these emails.
