We need to remember, I just did, that if a presentation like we are
discussing is to be had then we WILL need the screen. With this in mind
wind speed and direction need to be considered for positioning. Also
will the sun be so bright that the images will be difficult to be seen?
This is one more item the Properties Director(s) will need to bring.
Something which I'll bring up after posting this.
Thanks,
aj

Got an e-mail from Don Machholz about his intended plans to be there
for the marathon on both Friday and Saturday nights. He has offered
to make a presentation and I am not sure this can be done, so I'm
asking for some suggestions. What Don has offered is to present a
slide show, possibly similar to the one he presented at our October
meeting (or was it November). Unfortunately he would need power,
which doesn't exist unless someone brings a portable generator. But
this begs the question of finding a convenient time. There aren't
many there on Friday and most of the attendees don't start arriving
until about an hour before sunset and continue until after the meeting.
After all is said and done it may be easier to hold a meeting (kinda
like a reception?) on Saturday for everyone there to have a chance to
meet and talk with him.
Based on this does anyone have some suggestions or other ideas that
might be worthwhile.
Clear skies,
aj
