The Stargazing for Everyone crew is going to be at the Challenger Space
Center in Peoria with an array of scopes with filters.

While it's not a SAC event, there is a Mercury Transit event scheduled for
the new observatory in Gilbert. In addition to the facility's telescope,
various people (SAC and EVAC members) will have equipment on site. Since
this is a public event, everyone is welcome. I believe there will be
an announcement in the local newspapers - they have been invited to attend.
General observatory information is available here: http://rotaryobs.org
