[sac-forum] Re: Lunar Observing . . .

Device assisted. You can do it with our without setting circles. I chose
to get it done before I died, so I wimped out and used my setting circles.

BTW, my reply was meant to go to just AJ, not the entire elist. For anyone
who thought I was boasting, I apologize. In my mind I was sending my
certificate numbers to AJ-I just forgot to replace the elist with his name
in the "To" line.

Dick, what is significance of the DA following the 42 for the H-II
certificate?

David's Herschel 400 certificate is number 383 and was awarded in April of
this year. The last one to be awarded in SAC was two years earlier.

Thanks Darrell! The SAC, in my humble opinion, is the premier deep sky
observing club to belong to in the US. Its my plan to one day soon take
some time to travel out there and observe with you at one or the desert dark
sky sites but until that happens I have to be a member of the relatively
tiny SAC-East branch of the club here in Alabama (Membership one I think).
Ummmm what about the Herschels? I completed the H-400 a few months ago.

By the way, David, congratulations on completing the Lunar Observing Program
with SAC!

You were applauded at the last club meeting and deservedly so.

Now, about those Herschels . . .

Best regards,

Thanks for the email about this, I emailed my two senators from Alabama as
well. This is an issue that, in any logical universe, should sell itself.
