[sac-forum] Re: Lunar 100 List

That's what I was asking about at the meeting. Finding lunar features will be much easier with the cross reference between Charles Wood's list and the optimum lunar day. Thanks to Peter for the document, and Rick for pointing it out.

Subject: [sac-forum] Lunar 100 List

At Friday's meeting after Don Wrigley's talk about observing the moon,
several folks asked where they could get a list of Charles Wood's Lunar 100
with the best days to observed the various features. A quick Google search
turned up many variations of the list, but none seemed to say when the
features were best placed. Wood, ordered the list from easiest to most
difficult. I was on the wikispaces Lunar 100 site and one of the links was
for the East Valley Astronomy club's Lunar 100 list. Turn's out Peter
Argenziano & Thomas Watson took the liberty of sorting the list by Day of
the lunar cycle. A nice PDF package as well for keeping track of your
progress through the list:

Thanks Peter & Tom
