Thank you for the report Thad!

Regarding Cherry Road, I have been following closely what the 
government has been doing regarding the forest and the forest roads. 
I have a basket of some real horror stories. I think you will see 
more of this and the access to remote public land and dark skies will 
be just a rememberance in a few years.

Solution, use a club member's land (if possible). Find a good 
location and lease or buy the land. Even then the government may take 
away you access. Some members have said the club does not need more 
money. I think more money would provide some protection for club dark 
sky parties.
