[sac-forum] Re: Last Call for Observations

Dan, yes it is good to have two different size telescopes for comparison sake.
I often refer back to ones from my old 8" f6 Newtonian for reference not to
mention the current 8" f10 SCT. Then, of course, there's Steve Coe who has had
about 6, maybe 7, telescopes.

Like you, I also like the smaller scope because it is easier to manage and
makes the larger appreciated more.

Clear skies,
aj

AJ, I did get most of the way through the SCO list before everything got too
low. I'll send you observations by this evening.

  Dan

PS. I used my new "grab-and-go" 8SE, so I don't have as much detail as usual.
The 8" is very convenient for monsoon nights and star parties, but I appreciate
how much more I can see with the 18".

This is it for the Table Of Scorpius and if you have some, even one,
observations please submit in the next couple of days so I can start the
article.

So far only Dick Harshaw has submitted his observations.

  Clear skies,

  aj
