[sac-forum] Re: July 28 from Cave Creek

Uh, AJ, would you mind holding off on your reassembly and collimation until
the weekend? We have another great forecast for tonight and I'd hate for
your tinkering to rain on our photon parade.. (Snicker)

Dick, wow 13th mag galaxies from Cave Creek is awesome. To bad we don't get
weather like this during weekend. Instead of getting out tonight I'll be
putting the 14-inch back together again and getting the collimation where it
should be. But then this is a weather invitation for it to turn cloudy and,
possibly, rainy.

Tonight (July 28) was awesome from Cave Creek. Although not as good as
Cherry Road or the Antennas (of course!), the Milky Way and Great Rift were
easy to trace, and I was observing 13mag galaxies from 9:30 pm to 12:30 am.
Hope some of y'all got out and enjoyed this great sky. Supposed to be this
good Tuesday night too.

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright
until you hear them speak.
