That was Jeff Schafer and he built his 24 inch telescope he built was
waaaaaay back in 1978. It was located out northwest of Prescott 20 or so miles
out
of town. Its no longer there of course is was sold a number of years ago and

grasslands observatory. Last I heard Jeff was working as a ranger for one of
the National forests in Arizona but that too was a few years back as well.
