[sac-forum] Re: Hovatter

Peter,

I will be at Hovatter but cannot stay the night. I will be heading home
around 1AM depending on conditions.

I too will be deciding at about 4PM. Steve, anyone, caravan? Meet at a
convenient place or something (the McD's on Litchfield, or is it on Dysart
just south of the freeway)?

Matt

This site is as close to 5 mile meadow as you can get in the desert
for dark sky. I don't think you should have any trouble with the washes
unless they are full of water. I stay the night as it is a long drive
home...............Joe

I haven't been to the Hovatter site yet. Given that it's another hour
further than Vekol, is it that much better?

Also, the directions indicate that one has to traverse two washes. Is it
likely the recent rains will have affected the washes? I'm concerned about
getting my trailer in there (and back out).

That's a lengthy trip from the east... do attendees usually stay overnight?

Thanks for any insight.

Peter
