For folks staying home to hand out candy to the little monsters tonight, you
might want to take the opportunity to do the Bernie Sanden idea of showing off
a few sky tricks (or is it treats?) from a scope strategically placed in view
of the treats (or tricks) you're handing out.

October 31 (evening): Venus 5 degrees above crescent Moon, low in SW after
sunset. Moon 7 degrees to left of Venus on
November 1.
