I noticed some interesting things when I loaded all our observing
sites in my Garmin mapping software and then clicked the "view in Google
Earth" in that software. The Earth opened up with all the observing
sites and when I switched to sky mode the sites were plotted in the sky.
So, does that mean that it is displaying what is overhead at each site
at the current time? Of course that would be way too cool.

Thanks, Andrew.
A more direct link for downloading Google Earth 4.2 with sky options is

And it's never too early for people to begin having their fun with it:
