AJ, Tom, et al;
I drove on west from the Saddle Mt. site near the gas line and found very
few turnoffs that would get us away from the car lights on Dobbins Road.
There were several "Land For Sale" signs that pointed down one road, but I
did not turn there because I figured it was private land. But, we can
certainly look again, maybe at night, and see how much the lights intrude.

Tom, you have a good idea that will need to be explored. I'm sure that,
somewhere along the line, someone will take up the search. Perhaps Steve
and I?
Clear skies,

Harqulaharla(spelling?) Valley farming community very fast. A quick check
of Google maps will show the green farm lands vs the desert where the site
is located.

there were no local lights visible around the horizon for at least three
miles to the west of the site. If the gas line road is okay for setting up,
perhaps another mile or so west of the current site will buy us enough
distance from Dobbins.
