My laptop will read a DVD, no problem.  Since I am the speaker, we can just
hook it up at the beginning of the evening and leave it hooked up.

While I was away from my house for the past week, I eagerly answered your
request for a laptop that plays DVD's.  When I returned today, I realized
that my old laptop does not play DVD's.

So... a request to the club: does anybody have a laptop that Brian could use
at Friday's meeting to show his DVD?  Thanks.
