Steve, I believe it will. Vulture Peak Rd and Wickenburg rd are the same. We'd
be further North, West would be clear.

Chuck, would that put us looking over the 50,000 houses in this new project
along Wickenberg Rd? I don't want to abandon Flatiron only to be trying to
look over the glow from the housing project that chased us out.

There's another observing spot a few miles north of Flatiron about 12 miles
south of Wickenburg. Vulture Peak, a BLM maintained park that's about the same
sky glow wise as Flatiron except that the peak is to the east which helps to
block out some of the glow.
Sometimes there are snowbirds parked near the paved road, but they've never
been a problem. There are hikers and off roaders there during the day, but they
are usually leaving when I get there.
There aren't any artificial light sources in sight except for the occasional
headlight flash from Vulture Mine road about a mile to the west and given that
this is on BLM land it's not likely that it will get developed soon.
The spot is basically a pea gravel parking lot that can accommodate 12 - 20
or so vehicles. There are a some other open spots nearby if extra parking is
needed.
Chuck
