I found a flashlight like you're talking about at Home Depot. It's almost
like a Mag Light and even takes the same bulbs and red filter.

Does anyone know where I can purchase a flashlight that has a long goose
neck?
The light is connected to the battery by, about, a 24" flexible cable
that, conveniently, wraps around the back of your neck, leaving both
hands free to make drawings or record observations. It also seems there
was a filter for either red or white light.
It was taken out of service because the batteries leaked really bad,
making it impossible for their removal.
Don't remember where it was purchased and I haven't seen it advertised.
Has anyone seen a flashlight like this or one similar.
Thanks,
aj
