[sac-forum] Re: [EVAC] Fw: [AZ-Observing] AAMM

Ray, can you be more specific on your wrong turn? Each year I try to find something that makes the AAMM better, even if it is a little something. This is another item I'd like for us to talk about. Sounds like a good candidate for a do-better.

I've also CC'd the SAC form (e-mail) list in hopes of your being able to personally thank him.

After the AAMM was over I managed to get my truck hopelessly stuck in about
a foot of sand when I took the wrong turn getting out.

A gentlemen, who is a member of SAC, helped me out by digging, pushing, and
finally using his truck to give the final pull to get me out.

His name was Steve, in his 50¹s, tall and thin, drove a full size brown
Dodge pickup truck. He was staying in a tent. He led me out and I expected
him to stop so I could thank him and offer to buy him breakfast but he kept
going.

Does anyone know who he might be? He saved my bacon and I would Really like
to thank him..

Claude, thought I'd pass this along as there are a number of EVAC folks that
don't follow the AZ-Observing list.

Towards the bottom of Andrew's e-mail is a reference to someone who helped
him with a flat tire. Do you, or anyone from EVAC that was at the AAMM,
know who helped him and who owns the pump?

It is heart warming to know these two organizations work together so
closely.
