[sac-forum] Re: Directions to Dirt Boulevard observing site

Yes, a big Thank You to Rick Tejera for steering us in that direction.
Rick, your site is rather small and right on the dirt road, so we kept going
and found the Dirt Blvd. site. Like AJ, I look forward to a chance to use
it on a clear night.

Peter, thanks for the light pollution map, it is very informative.

Tom, is your site south of the rest stop near Tonopah? Did you just take a
dirt road south from the rest stop turnoff? I would also be interested in
trying that area out. Like the Antennas site at Hovatter, the good news is
that much of the driving is on the freeway. That way you rapidly get away
from the city.  Sounds interesting.

I think that we have all said it "you can't have too many observing sites".
Once one becomes useless, it is nice to have new places to move to.

I wonder how much of central Arizona will be covered in housing projects by
the time John F. Long VIII runs the company? Glad I won't be around to find
out.

Clear Skies;
Steve Coe
