Oooops! Sorry about that! Try not to read my last post! I meant to write
to my husband. Yikes! Ugg.

Tom,
You're the least disorganized person I know! And you're definitely _not_
incompetent with your job, science, math, photography, computer, or
hockey rules but I would probably have to give you a C-- for competency in
cooking but your A+ in Bachelor Survival Skills 401 keep you on the honor
roll or at least the Principals shitlist.
A new guy solved the garage door light enigma and apologized a lot for the
continuing saga. I told him the other guy was very nice and professional
and that the garage door is 10 years old so maybe these kinds of things
are to be expected. He had a great idea for the problem of the
never-ending light bulb burnout--put in compact florescents! Duh! No
filiment to jostle around + you decrease your carbon footprint a bit. (He
didn't really say that last part!) I put in another filiment bulb for now
and will pick up a couple gaseous bulbs next market hop.
I'm so glad I don't have to visit Girls' Hopeless today--I don't think
what's left of my mutilated heart could take it if even the smallest
attack on my motherhood happened.
Well, I'm off to visit ~44 2nd graders with my probably disillusioned but
sincere attempt at making a difference in some small way.

Steve,
Thanks for resurrecting this subject with such a tactful response.
