Yep, Scott is a trooper. Great teacher, patient coach, helpful awards log
reviewer. He's one of the best-- Kansas City's version of Steve Coe.

Subject: [sac-forum] Re: Curious
Scott was a great help to me when I first got started. When I first got to
doing the Messier I forwarded my logbook to him when I had like 20 entries
to make sure I was doing the right thing for the AL Messier. I didn't want
to track down all of them and find out I was not doing the log correctly..
Anyway I was only logging like "found it, wow its cool!" kind of entries and
he gently steared me toward actually seeing and recording details and trying
to suck out as much as possible at the eyepiece. His help not only led to
better log entries, I found I enjoyed it more too. Great guy.. he helped me
a lot.
