This just came in today on my SAC email server:

 

Cub scout pack 267 is having our Space Race derby at Rio Vista Park Ramada 7
from 6-9PM Wednesday July 22. If an amatuer astronomer could come to show
any currently visible planets or deep sky objects it would be appreciated.
Rio Vista park is on the north side of W. Thunderbird just west of Loop 101.

 

Apologies for the short notice. Understandable if no one is available. I
have a 4.25" dob and can find a few things but with 12-20 cubs and their
families it can be hard to hold their interest with only one scope.
