Hey All, and especially Rich Walker,
Rich, Steve and I were chatting at the SAC Xmas party about a great idea the
Rich had. Apparently, there is a "back wrap" that is not unlike the toe and
finger heaters. It was described as having a belt that velcros around your
back and stomach, and exposing the part that goes on your back to air is what
drives the heat. The theory that Rich presented was that if your kidneys kept
warm, it would go a long way to keeping your feet and hands warm too. So, in
preparation for the upcoming weekend, I stopped at at Walgreens, and did not
find exactly what Rich was talking of. I did find a version that adheres to
your clothes, with the recommendation that you shouldn't place it directly on
the skin. My concern for the one I found is will it work well if you put it on
your shirt, and cover that with all the other layers, thus diminishing the air
available to drive the heat. I'm assuming that Rich's version was different,
and as such, my question is this....Rich, which store carries the one you got?
Thad
