[sac-forum] Re: Cherry road directions

Stan,

I was up at Cherry Rd may 7th and although the grade at the entrance was a
fairly substantial bump, I got in with not problems in my Saturn. Again, I'm
the teat article for sedan access :)

Unfortunately, Astronomy wise anyway, I won't be able attend the May 28th
gathering at Cherry Rd. as celebrating my wedding anniversary is preferable
to divorce :)

Stan;

I think that the road side grading issue was resolved, but I honestly don't
know. I thought that someone went up to the site and found that the
entrance to the usual Cherry Road site was accessible for the family sedan.
At least, that is how I remember it.

Glad to see that you got a map and my directions.

Steve

Steve,
I noticed in the April newsletter that it has directions to get to the
Cherry site. Of course, I still needed to know if it was still on go
given the grading issue that was talked about a month ago or so. You
answered that question by implication when you gave me directions to get
to the site. I found an old email message for the March newsletter (I
don't know if I received the email message for April) and saw that by
changing the pdf name from 0305 to 0405 I could electronically bring up
the April newsletter. I saved it as a pdf file. It has a map and the
same directions you gave. If Paul Rothove doesn't indicate that he was
contacted by a club member I will email this to him.

I appreciate your thoughtfulness. You are the only one, at least up to
now, who responded to my message.
Stan
