[sac-forum] Re: Cherry Rd I

Dan, I'll see you and friend there, sorry about Peter. I'm bringing my 8" SCT
to give some new accessories a try. Don't expect any problems but can revert
back to old ones if necessary.

The weather reports indicates we will have cloud less skies, but a slight
breeze will exist - probably not more than 10 mph.

Clear skies,
aj

I'll see you there, AJ, along with a friend I'm bringing. We'll probably
arrive around 6.30 pm.

Peter A. is stranded in Chicago due to flight problems, so he won't be there.

I am planning on heading out to the SAC star party at the Cherry Rd I site
and am planning on leaving sometime between 3:00pm and 4:00pm. Any and all
wishing to join in let me know and times can be solidified.

Just as additional information the site is back to the original location that
is on the right hand side of the road. There is a large gate you have to go
through. Please be certain to close it after entering. That is one of the
rules of the country. If the gate is closed and you have to open to pass
through, then close it behind you. If it is already open, then don't close it
behind you.

  Clear skies to all,

  aj

Here are the directions to Cherry Rd I again.

Cherry Road I: Drive north on I-17 about 70 miles from central Phoenix to
the Cherry Road exit. This is state highway 169. Turn left over the freeway
to the west and go about 5 miles, just beyond mile marker number 10. At the
sign which says "Cherry 6" turn south onto a dirt road. Note: this is the
opposite direction of the arrow that is on the sign. The observing site is
about 5/10 of a mile south on the dirt road on the right. You need to go
through a gate to get to the site, please keep the gate closed after you enter.
 GPS coordinates are 34:31:08 112:05:08.
